Here are some general guidelines when refunding purchases that could affect your ability to refund.
- You must allow 24-hours after a payment is collected to refund the transaction. That is a requirement of Authorize.net.
- You can refund purchases up to 60-days prior inside of the billing tab inside a member's profile.
- If a purchase is outside 60-days you may be able to refund them in Authorize.net. If you do refund a person inside of Authorize.net that refund will not be displayed in the billing tab inside a member's profile. Please make sure to note the refund in the Activity Feed of their account for accurate record keeping.
